Personal Story

My journey began after years of doctor appointments, trying to figure out my body pain, sleepless nights, and bouts of depression. My anxiety and worry seemed to be controlling me. I finally figured out that all my symptoms were stress related. Meditation made such an impact on my life that I wanted to share it with the world. That is when I began my training so I could teach others.

Meditation has helped me though a life threatening illness, surgeries, major life decisions, parenting and teaching. I am so much better equipped to deal with anything life throws at me. I cannot imagine my life without it.

I receive so much joy in seeing children light up after they discover this easy tool to help them with their fears and anxiety that plagues many children in today’s world. I am amazed when adults are brought to tears after feeling complete relaxation for the first time in a long time. I get so much satisfaction in helping athletes be mentally tough and see them move to the next level in their performance.

Today my life is more balanced and joyful. I see things more clearly, I am able to be mindful and aware of my surroundings and be present for my life. Being able to be present in every moment brings me the greatest happiness.

I still have days when I am down or the worry starts to sink in. Nevertheless, with the combination of meditation, positive self-talk and other tools that I have acquired on my spiritual journey, I am better equipped to deal with the stress that is part of everyday life. Happiness comes with self-acceptance.
